Sandra began as an artist and writer and built a successful marketing communications company over the past two decades. A few years ago, she made the commitment to return to her first love-fine art. After studying with Pacific artists at the Art School at Kapalua, Maui, and working under visiting artists at the Von Liebig Art Center in Naples Florida, Sandra began to develop a body of work that reflected her love of color, nature and architecture.

With much time spent in Hawaii, she developed a love of the lush foliage of the Islands, and a passion for the bright colors and tropical birds so popular in that garden paradise. A home in Naples, Florida and travel to the Caribbean have further encouraged a desire to communicate her love of the tropics.

With travels throughout Europe and the Middle East, Sandra has enjoyed capturing the images of villas, villages and ancient streets in her paintings. The warm Mediterranean countries are her favorites and with her imagination she embellishes real places with her own special ambiance of the ideal.
