The City of Wilmington Department of Public Works keeps our City functioning 24-hours-a-day, every day of the year. It is a huge undertaking, involving over 200 men and women. These dedicated workers make sure the water runs; the sewers flow; records are kept; roads, signs and buildings are maintained; and the trash is removed on time.
